What is the payment standard of overtime salary under the standard working hour system in China?

  1. If the employee is arranged to extend the working hours beyond the daily legal standard working hours, the payment shall be no less than 150% of the employee’s hourly wage.
  2. If an employee is arranged to work on a rest day but cannot arrange compensatory leave, it shall be paid at not less than 200% of the employee’s daily or hourly salary.
  3. If an employee is arranged to work on statutory holidays, he/she shall be paid at least 300% of employee’s daily or hourly wages.
