Team Retention Post-Closure
Closing down a company in China does not always mean the complete cessation of business operations. There may still be unresolved matters requiring attention, and you may need to retain some employees to continue working for you. In such cases, you can choose a certified Employer of Record (EOR) company like HROne to take over the employer role for these remaining employees.Â
Relevant Process
- The client and HROne sign a service agreement.Â
- The client provides employee information to HROne, and HROne transfers the employment relationship from the client to HROne, making these employees EOR employees.Â
- During the employment period, the EOR employees continue to work for the client, while HROne, as the legal employer, manages payroll, social insurance, and other statutory taxes. The client pays the total labor costs and service fees on a monthly basis as invoiced.Â
- Once the client has completed all remaining matters in China, they can terminate the service by notifying HROne in advance according to the agreement and paying the required fees in compliance with the law. HROne will then handle the termination process with the employees.Â
